The Staff at Promised Land is pleased to announce that this year (2015) marks forty years of the ministry of Promised Land! We give all the glory to God for His sustaining hand in our past, and our present. We are hoping and praying the Lord will continue to bless the ministry as we seek to use the things He has given us to reach out and bless others. Please pray for us as we seek to discern the Lord's will in how He would have the ministry to go forward for the next generation!
In celebration of our forty years of ministry, we would like to invite all of our alumni campers (and their families and friends!) to an open house event on July 4th, 2015. The camp will be open from 9 am to 6 pm for all visitors to come remember, relax, and enjoy the camp! Come enjoy the various activities that so many have participated in over the years! - Horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, rifle range, archery range, laser tag, and much more! We would love to have you come and visit the staff, as well as inform you on what is going on with the camp now. Interested in the camp's past? Wonderful! We plan to have pictures and memorabilia from previous years, so drop by! You may just recognize some faces in some of the pictures! We would also love to have you if you have never visited the camp before. Come see what we're all about!
Help us promote our celebration! You can download a flier HERE to share at your church, youth group, work, etc. Let's make this a day to remember!
Join us July 4, 2015!!
The Promised Land Camp is an outreach of the Evangelical Methodist Conference. Located in Conestoga, Pennsylvania, it serves as a place to refresh and invigorate Christians in their walk with the Lord, as well as preach the Gospel to the lost. Our mission is to share the Gospel with the unsaved and edify Christians by providing a place where the Bible is upheld as the infallible, inerrant Word of the Living God. We seek to enrich the lives of individuals by sharing with them the resources God has given to us. One-hundred twenty-seven acres await those who would choose to spend their time here. Our facilities are open to those who wish to participate in staff-run activities (see summer camps and retreats) or those who wish to bring their own family or group to spend a day, weekend, or week. Feel free to look through our website to see if something interests you, or contact a member of our staff for more information:
